Welcome to Maritime Scales / Balances Maritimes, a division of Lats Distribution Inc.


We specialize in industrial weighing equipment with a focus on reliability, nationwide coverage and professional support.

 

1. Scope of Application

 

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made on our website, available in both English and French. We currently serve customers across Canada.

 

2. Payment and Ordering

 

We accept credit card payments through Moneris Checkout and bank transfers - Sezzle will be available soon for flexible financing options.

Orders can be placed from within Canada only. We do not process international orders at this time.

 

3. Shipping Policy

 

It is highly recommended to select Purolator Express for all shipments, this will provide :

 

  • Reliable tracking

  • Competitive delivery times

  • Support in case of lost or damaged parcels

 

Typical shipping timeline:

 

  • 2 business days for nearby provinces (QC, ON, NB, NS)

  • Up to 1–2 weeks for other provinces

 

4. Warranty and Returns

 

Products are covered by Anyload’s manufacturer warranty, which can be reviewed here:

Return conditions:

  • A 25-35% (depending on the item) restocking fee applies to all eligible returns.

  • Products must be returned in original condition with complete packaging.

  • Some items are not eligible for return if separated from their original set

 

 

5. Calibration & Maintenance Services

 

We provide annual maintenance services, including inspection, recalibration and issuance of official calibration certificates valid for 12 months.

6. Limitations of Liability

 

While all our products are supplied by trusted manufacturers, we also offer technical support and service solutions in-house.

We are not responsible for shipping delays, which fall under Purolator Express’s delivery policy. We also assume no liability for misuse or operation outside product specifications.

 

 

7. Privacy & Data Handling

 

Customer information (such as name, address, and email) is collected solely for order processing.
We do not sell or share your data beyond what is necessary for logistics and payment, handled via:

 

  • Purolator

  • Moneris

  • Sezzle (if used)
